Educational Approach
EBICA offers a bilingual French and English curriculum, using the best practices in education. The educational program is based on the  French ‘Éducation Nationale” and the English International Primary Curriculum (IPC) as well as National Literacy Program.

Our pragmatic approach chooses a style of learning which is in line with the needs of each child and different classroom situations. Our pedagogy seeks to ensure a positive learning environment where the child feels successful and motivated.

We aim to keep a balance between the development of each class, of each child and the high standards of our educational level. In Preschool, Montessori material is used and an early reading program is also offered.

The curriculum is in line with the guidelines of the French Education Program, which is used as a basis for further extension. Our program is compatible with all education programs and ensures an easy transition into any school system.

Our mission is to prepare our students for a world of continuous change. Our program encourages students to become active, compassionate, lifelong learners and responsible global citizens.

The teaching staff is made up of enthusiastic and highly qualified teachers who have many years experience in «Éducation Nationale» and in international education. Our teachers also have experience in child psychology and in a wide range of educational programs and materials. This contributes to a high quality learning environment for the children. Each teacher teaches in his/her maternal language.

A Personal and Permanent Follow-up
We offer an education based on active learning, where children learn through inquiry in a relevant and meaningful way. Students will be encouraged to be motivated, to share and express opinions and new ideas, to self evaluate and to learn to take effective responsibility.

Small class-size
Small class-sizesof between 8-17 students ensure that children receive all of the individual attention and one-on-one support they need in order to learn and flourish.

Developing Self Confidence
Children work in a positive and motivating environment with a clear stucture. A complicity between teachers and pupils, encourages an harmonious class and cooperation. We emphasise both individual and team success.

Service Learning Project
Throughout the school, children are involved in specific services and learning projects that make positive contributions to the school and community.

Motivation to Learn
The curriculum is planned with careful attention to the educational levels, interests and developmental needs of the children including intellectual, physical, emotional and social aspects. Our foundation for academic learning is therefore designed to develop students to the best of their ability providing them with motivation to learn.

Student Evaluation Following International and French Curriculum
Students will be evaluated on a regular basis in order to ensure their understanding of the curriculum delivered. Pupils can then be graded according to «Éducation Nationale» standards.

An International Curriculum
An education with an international bias means:
-An overview of cultural aspects, Human Rights, charities...
-Coordination of the French and English programs
-An international content in the program (IPC), in addition to the National Literacy Program
-A knowledge of different learning styles when approaching mathematics, history, science...
