The Academy Teaching programme
The curriculum is tailor-made to ensure that all students are exposed to French and English learning in non-linguistic subjects.
- Science is taught in English and French, following the same curriculum.
- History and Geography are either taught in French or English, depending on the year. Example: if History is in English in year 7, it will be taught in French in year 8.
- Music in French, Art in English, PE in English, Coding in French, Neuroscience in both languages.
This means that, in addition to sitting their IGCSEs, students can prepare Cambridge English Learner exams and the French equivalent (DELF), as part of their individual language acquisition programme. Spanish and German are available too.
Both French and English continue to be taught at native/bilingual level right through the IGCSE and IB programmes.
Our IB students go on to study successfully at a range of European and UK universities.

5 reasons we teach our students to code
The IGCSE is a two-year programme leading to individual subject certificates, which are internationally recognised. Our Students follow the IGCSE syllabus and are recommended to sit examinations, leading to certification.
The IGCSE ensures that students are well-prepared for the rigours of the IB Diploma programme, and that they have developed the understanding and practical skills needed to be locally and internationally-engaged individuals.
